Nick Balancia joined Berkadia May of 2023. As an Associate Director, Nick will be strengthening the Multifamily Investment Sales service line in New Jersey.
Nick has prior experience across a multitude of brokerage service lines within commercial real estate. In his previous role, Nick drove the market intelligence service line at Avison Young. This included creating office and industrial quarterly market reports, as well as driving internal adoption of a proprietary property database. Prior to Avison Young, Nick was a Development Analyst at Iron Ore Properties. Nick provided market research deliverables, investment feasibility studies, and assisted with leasehold agreements. Prior to Nicks time at Iron Ore Properties, he assisted a group of private investors locate distressed multifamily assets within Somerset and Middlesex counties. This included targeting tax delinquent properties and communicating pertinent data findings to help facilitate acquisition efforts.
Nick graduated in May of 2022 from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Real Estate. Thereafter, Nick became a Licensed Salesperson in New Jersey.
