Paul Weimer is a Managing Director out of the Miami, Florida office for Berkadia Hotels & Hospitality. Mr. Weimer, a hospitality expert with more than 20 years of experience, has a wealth of hotel transaction knowledge through his involvement in more than $5 billion in completed hospitality dispositions. He also has a wealth of experience managing hotel assets and in private equity.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Mr. Weimer was an Executive Vice President with CBRE Hotels where he focused on serving owners and investors in Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Prior to CBRE, Mr.Weimer was a part of The Charre Group where he and his team earned a reputation focusing on transactions in Florida and the Caribbean as a trusted real estate investment banking firm and advisor dedicated to the lodging industry. Prior to forming the Charre Group, Mr. Weimer spent several years at Trinity Hotel Investors, where he was a director of business development and involved with asset managing the firm’s portfolio of hotel assets.
Paul holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from New York University; an undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science, also from NYU; and has completed Cornell University’s post graduate certificate in Hotel and Resort Finance and Development. Prior to his long career in real estate brokerage and finance, Paul was a Senior Equity Trader for both BNP Paribas and Societe Generale, two of Europe’s leading banking institutions.
