Mike Garbers is a Managing Director for Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare and is based in the Orlando, FL office. He has been involved in the seniors housing industry since 2000 and has been involved in developing, acquiring, and selling over $8 billion in seniors housing properties throughout the United States and Canada. He specializes in brokering seniors housing, active adult, and long-term care properties.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Mike held managing director roles with JLL Capital Markets and Greystone Real Estate Advisors. Mike also held positions with Herbert J Sims and CNL Financial Group, where he structured seniors housing development and acquisitions through private placements.
Mike received his B.S.B.A in Finance from University of Central Florida and an MBA from Webster University. He has been an active member of the American Seniors Housing Association and National Investment Center. He is also an active CCIM member.
