Jay Healy is a Managing Director for Berkadia’s Seniors Housing & Healthcare group. Based out of the Charleston, SC office, Mr. Healy is responsible for new loan originations for skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care through FHA/HUD. Prior to joining Berkadia, Mr. Healy was an Assistant Vice President with Walker & Dunlop, focusing on healthcare and multifamily loan production for the FHA Finance group. Mr. Healy has over 10 years of FHA underwriting and origination experience, and has originated and closed in excess of $1 billion in seniors housing and healthcare loans through FHA/HUD and Fannie Mae since joining Berkadia. Mr. Healy graduated from Boston College in May 2007 and received his Graduate Certificate in Real Estate from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate in August 2009.
