Hunter Wood serves as a Senior Director in Berkadia’s Mortgage Banking platform, where he arranges debt and equity for multifamily and commercial real estate investors nationwide. Based in Richmond, Virginia, Hunter works with clients across the country on a wide range of capital solutions.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Hunter was with Northmarq, where he played a key role in the origination, underwriting, and closing of transactions secured by multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and self-storage properties. Over the course of his career, he has closed more than $7 billion in multifamily and commercial transactions throughout the United States.
Hunter earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Virginia and currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the Virginia Tech Blackwood Program in Real Estate. He previously served on the Leadership Advisory Board for the First Tee of Richmond. In his spare time, Hunter enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
