Grant Cooper is a Director with Berkadia Dallas Mortgage Banking. In this role, Grant is responsible for providing debt and equity solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners throughout the United States. He joined Berkadia in 2021 and specializes in multifamily debt financing with a focus on FHA/HUD transactions.
Previously, Grant worked at HUD in both the D.C. and Fort Worth offices, serving as Confidential Assistant and Special Policy Advisor to the Secretary and later as the advisor to the Regional Administrator – Region VI. Grant also worked in the White House in the Office of Presidential Personnel, serving as an advisor to the Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Presidential Personnel.
Grant graduated from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland with a MA (Honors) in Management. He is locally involved in the Ibex Club and Habitat for Humanity.
