Berkadia Negotiates Student Housing Property Sale in Huntsville, Texas

Huntsville, Texas – July 22, 2026 – Berkadia, a distinguished leader in the commercial real estate sector, announced today the sale of The Forum at Sam Houston a 450-bed, garden-style student housing property in Huntsville, Texas. Senior Managing Directors Travis Prince and Kevin Larimer, along with Directors Shawn Lubic and Victoria Marks of Berkadia Student Housing led the transaction on behalf of the seller, North Carolina-based Preiss.

The sale was financed by Senior Managing Director John Koeijmans and Director Austin Blankenship of Berkadia Dallas. The Forum at Sam Houston was sold to Texas-based CrestMarc.

So far in 2026, Berkadia Student Housing has closed and financed 24 transactions totaling 7,828 beds.
