Berkadia Negotiates 280-Unit Multifamily Property in Johnson County, Kansas
MISSION, KANSAS – AUGUST 27, 2024 – Berkadia announced today the sale of Silverwood Apartments, a 280-unit, garden-style multifamily property in Mission, Kansas. Senior Director Michael Spero and Associate Director Niko Vrentas of Berkadia Kansas City led the transaction on behalf of the seller, California-based Canyon View Capital. Silverwood Apartments sold to Utah-based Parkwest Real Estate Partners in a joint venture with Wisconsin-based MLG Capital on August 14.
The buyer assumed the existing Freddie Mac loan for this purchase. The transaction marks Parkwest’s first purchase in the Kansas City market.

Located at 5100 Fox Ridge Drive, the property affords convenient access to major metro employers, plus popular area shopping, dining, and entertainment destinations.
