Berkadia Adds Senior Director to Mortgage Banking Platform
RICHMOND, VA – NOVEMBER 9, 2023 – Berkadia announced today the addition of Senior Director Hunter Wood. Wood will sit in our Richmond, Virginia office and report to Senior Managing Director Patrick McGlohn.

Wood arranges debt and equity on behalf of multifamily and commercial real estate investors and services clients nationally.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Hunter was at Northmarq where he played a key role in the origination, underwriting, and closing of more than $3 billion in transactions for multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and self-storage properties. Prior to Northmarq, Hunter was in a Finance Rotational Program at WestRock, a Fortune 500 packaging company headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.

Hunter graduated with a Master of Science in Real Estate from Virginia Commonwealth University, and he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech. Hunter is a licensed salesperson in Virginia and an active member of numerous real estate organizations including the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE). He serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the Virginia Tech Blackwood Program in Real Estate. He also serves on the Leadership Advisory Board for the First Tee of Richmond.
