EL SEGUNDO, CA – September 15, 2021 – Berkadia announced today the addition of Director Simona Wilson to Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare, serving on the investment sales platform helmed by Tim Cobb, Investment Sales Leader.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Wilson founded Crescent Capital LLC, where she focused on advising senior housing capital providers and operators on all phases of the investment cycle including capital raising, underwriting, operator identification and selection, development project oversight, asset management and portfolio strategy.

Previously, Wilson spent 15 years as part of the investment team at the publicly traded healthcare REIT Healthpeak, Inc (previously HCP, Inc.) and served as Vice President of Strategy & Business Development and Vice President of Acquisitions & Valuations. She has transaction experience across the entire healthcare real estate spectrum, including senior housing, hospitals, medical office and life science, and has been the lead on over $5 billion of investments.
Simona graduated from the Leventhal School of Accounting at the University of Southern California (USC) and spent two years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers before starting her career in healthcare real estate.
