NEW YORK, NY – February 10, 2025 – Berkadia was the #1 GSE and HUD Seniors Housing Lender by total volume in 2024. Berkadia delivered over $1.63 billion in seniors housing loans with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae (“the multifamily GSEs”) and HUD.
In addition, Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare Mortgage Banking achieved a record-breaking year, closing $2.6 billion in financing across 136 properties, including active adult, independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing communities and utilizing multiple additional lending sources including banks, Berkadia capital and debt funds.
