SAN DIEGO, CA – April 28, 2021 – Berkadia announced today the addition of Managing Director Scott Hall, who will be responsible for helping to lead and grow hotel investment sales activity across the western region for Berkadia Hotels & Hospitality. Joining with Scott is Senior Director Aaron Lapping. They will be based in Berkadia San Diego and will report to Senior Managing Director and Head of Berkadia Hotels & Hospitality Andrew Coleman.

Hall and Lapping both join Berkadia from JLL. Hall has over 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Over his career, he has sold/capitalized over $8 billion in hotel and resort transactions. While at JLL, Hall served as Senior Managing Director, where he focused on hotel and resort investment sales and capital markets transactions across the country. Hall also served as Co-Head of JLL’s San Diego Capital Markets office and was a member of the JLL Capital Market’s Leadership Team.
Lapping brings over five years of experience to Berkadia. While at JLL, he served as Vice President, focused exclusively on hotel and resort investment sales and capital markets transactions across the West Coast. Prior to JLL, Lapping was an investment banking analyst at Elmcore Group.
Berkadia Hotels & Hospitality continues to add the best talent in the industry, having recently, added Managing Director Denny Meikleham to support and better serve clients in the Northeast.
