Hyderabad, India – March 20, 2025 – Berkadia, a leader in the commercial real estate industry, hosted its fourth Commercial Real Estate (“CRE”) Symposium in Hyderabad, India, on March 18-19, bringing together industry leaders from across the U.S. CRE sector. Participants included representatives from S&P Global Ratings, Fitch Ratings, Morningstar DBRS, Seyfarth Shaw LLP, the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC), and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).
The event presented an opportunity to share insights focused on macroeconomic conditions, market and industry trends, as well as technological advances that are shaping the CRE industry. The faculty, which represented trade associations, rating agencies, and law firms, also discussed the current U.S. political landscape and the new administration’s potential impact on CRE.
Approximately 700 delegates attended the two-day event, offering them the opportunity to gain insights into the U.S. CRE markets from both a servicers and lenders perspective. Speakers also addressed various topics, including commercial loan servicing, AI in the workspace, and fraud identification, prevention, and mitigation.
