CHEVY CHASE– July 26, 2017 – Berkadia today announced the hiring of Senior Director Jeff Coles to expand its multifamily investment sales platform in the D.C. Metro region. He brings 25 years of experience to Berkadia, having been involved with the sale and marketing of $4.5 billion of transactions.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Coles was a senior vice president with First Capital Realty, a boutique multifamily investment sales firm focused on the sale of institutional assets along the Eastern seaboard.
Coles is an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Committee (NMHC), where he serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Additionally, he is an active volunteer with the newly developed $4.2 million DC Dream Center, a first-of-its-kind, community-based center that provides mentorship, personal development and legal support for underprivileged Washington, D.C. residents.
Coles earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Howard University and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration on real estate and urban development from American University.
