Berkadia Adds Senior Managing Director Matt Mitchell to Investment Sales Team in Tampa, Florida

TAMPA, FL – December 3, 2021 – Berkadia announced today the addition of Senior Managing Director Matt Mitchell to its Tampa Investment Sales team joining Senior Managing Director Jason Stanton. He will report to SVP, Co-Head of Investment Sales Keith Misner.

Mitchell brings more than 20 years of experience, having completed more than $8 billion in commercial real estate transactions across his career. He joins Berkadia from JLL, where he served as Senior Managing Director and headed the Tampa office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. His team was responsible for providing capital markets insight and expertise to owners, investors and developers of multifamily assets of all classes and sizes.

Mitchell joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition. Prior to working at HFF, he was a Transactions Director at Institutional Property Advisors and, before that, an Associate Director in the Investment Services Group at Transwestern in Chicago.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Northwestern University and a Masters in Finance and Masters in Real Estate/Construction Management from the University of Denver.

With over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Stanton has closed over $3.8 billion in sales comprising over 30,000 units in the past 5 years in Central Florida.
