SCOTTSDALE, AZ – February 3, 2021 – Berkadia today announced the addition of Managing Director Brent Wessel to its mortgage banking platform. He will be joining a robust team in Scottsdale, Arizona. Wessel will report to Senior Managing Director Scott Holland.

Wessel brings over 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and has been involved in over $22 billion in transactions including multi-market portfolios, single assets of class A, B and C properties for both securitization and portfolio lending.
Wessel has served at a senior level management and origination position at Cantor Fitzgerald, SunTrust Bank, Red Capital Group and GE Capital Real Estate.
Wessel received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Redlands and his Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside. Wessel is involved in the Mortgage Banker’s Association and the Urban Land Institute.
