Berkadia Adds Director Justin Kennedy to Mortgage Banking Platform Team in Dallas, Texas

DALLAS, TX – September 14, 2020 – Berkadia today announced the addition of Director Justin Kennedy to its mortgage banking platform. He will be joining a robust team in Berkadia’s Dallas, Texas office. Kennedy will report to Senior Managing Director John Koeijmans.

“With almost 25 years in the industry, Justin brings a wealth of experience to the Dallas metro office,” said EVP and Head of Mortgage Banking Hilary Provinse. “Dallas is a strong market and Justin will be joining the already well-established mortgage banking team to help better serve clients in achieving their goals.”

Kennedy joins Berkadia from Old East Partners where he served as a consultant for multifamily value add projects in the Dallas metro area. He was responsible for the strategic acquisition of small multifamily properties and the disposition of these properties post-renovation once completed and stabilized.

Prior to Old East Partners, Kennedy served as EVP, Agency Chief Credit Officer at Barings Multifamily Capital, LLC. During his time there, Kennedy was responsible for management of the screening, underwriting, closing, delivery and capital market functions of Barings Multifamily Capital as a Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac program lender.

Kennedy received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Old Dominion University and his Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Urban Development from The American University.
